Elena Daly has been the Executive Assistant to the CEO with FBLA-PBL since 2013. She serves as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Governance Committee, and Alumni-Business Network Task Force.
Prior to joining the FBLA-PBL National Staff, she worked for Loudoun County Public Schools where she supported the Principal and Assistant Principal and managed the student records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Her association experience includes Director of Accreditation for the National Society of Accountants and Director of Certification for The Irrigation Association where she worked with each organization's credentialing Board of Directors to promote professional industry accreditation.
At the postsecondary level, Elena was the Executive Assistant to the President of the University of Chile's D.C. Corporate Office. She supported the President as the corporation established collaborative partnerships with U.S. universities and promoted alumni relations for graduates now living and working in the U.S. In addition to providing C-level support to the President, she also served as the staffliaison to the Board of Directors comprised of university presidents and deans who supported the South American university’s endeavors. Simultaneously, the President served as the Scientific Attaché of the Embassy of Chile in Washington, D.C. where Elena also supported the embassy’s scientific exchange initiatives and diplomatic mission.
Elena earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from the University of Maryland and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She is fluent in Spanish.
